Yelp

"I think the Elephant is a well designed pub. Plenty of seating downstairs for those who want to sit and talk, while the upstairs section has a dance floor specific for bands to play and DJ's to belt out their tunes. The decor here is almost identical to sitting inside a British pub. The staff here are friendly and the drink prices are on par with other pubs. The clientele range anywhere from 20's to 40's. Definitely not a bad place to go if you want to catch up with friends for drinks."

"Been here several times. Beers are cold, staff friendly and food quite fit for a pub. Had fish and chips a couple of times. Really nice and flavorful paired with a refreshing salad."
Bands have gigs upstairs on weekends"

"Upstairs goes off on weekends and is a great place for a casual dance with generally good live bands. If you are tipsy and ready to let loose on the dance floor with a big group of unpretentious people who are out for a good time, you'll love the Elephant. If you are looking for a great place to gather for drinks with your friends, you'll love the Elephant too.  There's something for everyone."

"You can not only dance drink and be merry here, but dance drink and be merry with a sexy Brazilian, or Venezuelan. And I don't mean this in a sleazy way, I just mean, travellers are fun. The drinks here are pretty cheap and you can go upstairs and dance and have a laugh and there's zero pretension in this pub. Just good old fashioned mates and greats."

"Any pub with Big Buck Hunter is in my good books.
This place has a great out door area, one of my favourite in Adelaide. Surrounded by glass perspex and filled with large wooden tables, it's great to hang outside have a few drinks with friends."

"Great English Pub in an awesome location! Great English Pub in an awesome location with food that I would consider above average for a pub. The price of an Imperial pint of Aussie beer is 2nd to none and has a pretty relaxed atmosphere down stairs."

"Popular with all ages and cultures. On a recent night out to a French film festival, where else to eat but an English Pub! Surprised to find this 'Pub' was patroned on the night by retirees, francophiles and a group on a Bucks night out. Food was very good, from salmon to steaks. Many English ales on tap. Bookings absolutely essential. We'll be back, French films."

"Love a good British beer at the Elephant to kick off the weekend."

"Nice food and never had a bad beer."

"A British themed bar of the kind you will never find in Britain. $5 imperial pints during happy-hours on Friday it is hard to go past, but gets very crowded. Good pub food though."

"Cheap, grest atmosphere :)"
